Enhancing Media Coverage of Humanitarian Crises

Musaala Organization for Human Rights concluded a training workshop on: "Humanitarian Reports and Stories Writing" which was held during 11-12 May 2024 in Marib City.

The Training workshop to train a number of journalists in the principles and skills of writing humanitarian reports and stories.

The workshop aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of journalists and media professionals in a way that contributes to conveying the scale of human suffering caused by the conflict, such as the issues of air and ground bombardment, mines, destruction of civilian property, and the issue of internal displacement.

This training workshop, implemented by Musaala for Human Rights, comes within the Peace Pillars Program, funded by the Office of the United Nations Envoy to Yemen.

At the conclusion of the training , which was attended by the Director of the Media & Information Office in Marib Governorate, certificates of participation were distributed to the participants.
