Discussing joint cooperation

Amman, March 2024

A meeting was held in Amman, between the Dutch embassy in Yemen and Musaala Organization for Human Rights. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Dutch Ambassador to Yemen: Marika Wierda, a political advisor: Yasameen Al-Nadheri, and Mahdi Balghaith, President of Musaala Organization for Human Rights. The meeting aimed to discuss joint cooperation and the support needed in implementing human rights projects aimed at promoting human rights in Yemen.

During the meeting, many topics of common interest were reviewed, including the current human rights situation in Yemen and the challenges the organization faces in implementing its projects. Priorities and areas in which joint cooperation between the two sides can be strengthened in achieving humanitarian goals and promoting human rights in Yemen were also discussed.

Musaala organization affirmed that it will continue to work diligently and sincerely to achieve justice and equality for all individuals in Yemeni society and to contribute to improving the current human rights situation in Yemen.
