Marib Technical Center .. Safe access to the Internet in emergency situations
Musaala Organization for Human Rights, in partnership with the Yemeni Organization for Development and Technical Solutions YODET, and within the Yemeni Network for Emergency and Technical Solutions YNEXT project, launches the services of the Marib Technical Center, which aims to facilitate safe access to the Internet in emergency situations, support relief and development coordination in general, and provide technical advice And trainings in digital security and occupational safety for all journalists, media professionals, activists and civil society organizations in Marib governorate.
Starting from June to December 2022, the center will provide many services free of charge, the most important of which are:
🔺📡📶📩 Providing free DSL internet service securely and at a speed of 4 MB, and satellite internet service in the event of a stop or interruption to the internet.
🔺🔋🖨💻 Printing for reports, research, charging for devices, and a solar energy system to ensure the center’s services continue in the event of a power outage.
🔺 📍🏠 A comfortable and quiet hall and place for meetings of activists, researchers, journalists, youth initiative owners and civil society organizations.
🔺📲🖥🆘 Providing technical support and technical advice on a daily basis through a specialized helpline to help you solve any technical problems related to your devices, emails, and accounts on social networks.
🔺 🔢✅🗣 I invite you to participate in monthly technology-related activities and events, trainings on digital security, occupational safety, and conflict-sensitive journalism.
You can visit the center and enjoy its free services during official working hours, from Sunday to Thursday, from 9 am to 4 pm, at our office.
